A proven performer at the highest level of sport. DARC DE LUX has competed at Olympic Games, World and European Championships, and FEI World Cup Finals - among the elite of international showjumping.

With consistent top performances at Global Champions Tour events, including podium finishes against the world’s best, he combines exceptional scope, rideability, and the mental strength to perform under pressure.

Bred in Denmark by Morten & Pia Augustinus, he is a son of Darco, one of the most successful showjumping sires of all time. Darco won his first World Cup qualifier in 1988, placed at the World Equestrian Games, and competed at the 1992 Olympic Games.

DARC DE LUX is a stallion with true championship credentials and undeniable x-factor - proven in sport, ready to shape the next generation.

  • 1st rate: EUR 200

    Covers the right to attempt insemination over three oestrus cycles, i.e. three insemination attempts (each consisting of three straws). If the mare is not confirmed in foal after three attempts, a new fee will be payable for a further attempt.

    2nd rate: EUR 1,000

    Payable October 1st.


    Conditions at Højgård Odense

    Packing and dispatch of frozen semen in liquid nitrogen transport container costs DKK 650 per shipment. The container can be picked up at the reception during opening hours or sent via courier at the mare owner’s expense. Containers should be returned to Højgård also at the mare owner’s cost.

    Mares inseminated with DARC DE LUX at Højgård can have one oestrus cycle for DKK 2,500 incl. VAT, and the daily boarding rate is DKK 200 per day incl. VAT.

  • As DARC DE LUX will continue competing at the highest level, only frozen semen will be available.

  • DARC DE LUX is available for ICSI through VetEmbryo.
